This is the third time Dr. Singh has received this honor, having been previously named Tampa Magazine’s Top Doctor in Addiction Medicine in the Tampa Bay area in 2017 and 2019. This year, Dr. Singh was recognized for excellence in both Addiction Medicine and Psychiatry.

Dr. Singh has been board certified in Adult Psychiatry since 1991, certified in Psychopharmacology by the American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology (ASCP) since 2007 and certified in Addiction Medicine through the American Board of Preventive Medicine since 2018. He is a member of the American Medical Association (AMA), American Psychiatric Association (APA) and the Florida Psychiatric Society (FPS) and is the past President of the Tampa Psychiatric Society.
In 2010, Dr. Singh was honored as a Distinguished Fellow by the American Psychiatric Association (APA) for his efforts to reduce the stigma of psychiatry and to make a positive difference within the community. He has been recognized as an outstanding teacher for his lectures to medical students, nurses, and physicians on such topics as depression, anxiety, insomnia, and bipolar disorder.
In 2016, Dr. Singh became the Medical Director at Turning Point of Tampa. Founded in 1987, Turning Point of Tampa, located in Tampa, Florida, offers Licensed Residential Treatment for adults with Drug Addiction, Alcohol Addiction, Eating Disorders, and Dual Diagnosis. In 1989, Turning Point developed their nationally-recognized Eating Disorders/Food Addiction Program for clients with Binge Eating Disorder, Bulimia Nervosa, and Anorexia Nervosa.
