Outcomes and Follow up


Our commitment to our clients doesn’t stop at discharge. Turning Point of Tampa is part of the nation’s premier outcomes driven provider network. We utilize the MAP Recovery Network as a means of following up with our clients. After discharge, clients will receive calls from our Outcomes Coordinator asking them questions about their ongoing recovery, the quality of their life and also utilization of other health care providers. Using this software program enables us to collect, analyze and demonstrate the positive outcomes of our treatment programs using advanced technologies. It also gives our clients another opportunity to connect with us and have accountability and guidance during early recovery.

Continuing care is vital for success with recovery. All clients who complete our programs receive a continuing care contract that outlines follow-up appointments and meetings. Our Outcomes Coordinator will call clients the week prior to their first follow-up appointment with their therapist or psychiatrist to remind them of the appointment. This is another way we can help support our alumni on their journey of recovery.

A free aftercare group is also available to alumni. Upon successful completion of one of our programs, clients are welcome to return weekly for an aftercare group run by one of our therapists. This group can be attended for as long as the client wants or needs it and provides guidance, support and accountability.

Lastly, alumni are placed on our email list and will receive updates about local recovery events and alumni events. We also encourage alumni to connect with us on Social Media. Continuing a connection to our alumni is important to us and helps us fulfill our mission.
