Drug and alcohol rehabilitation treatment facility, Turning Point of Tampa, is witnessing an increase in young clients seeking help to overcome addiction. Logan Chamberlin, a licensed mental health counselor and former client at the facility, said that there has been a 20% rise in clients aged 18 to 30.
Logan attributes this increase to the growing opioid epidemic and the availability of more powerful substances like fentanyl. He also highlighted that the treatment helped him and others to overcome addiction and build a new life and wants others to know that help is available.

Chamberlin and former client, Sam Fleming, who is now 21 and works as the house manager at Turning Point, both want to raise awareness of the help that is available for those struggling with addiction. They hope that as more young people successfully recover, it will serve as a reminder that recovery is possible at a young age.
