Ashley Neal
My name is Ashley Neal, and I am the Public Relations and Media Strategist for Turning Point of Tampa. I have worked in the addiction field since 2012 and all those years have been spent at Turning Point. I am also an alumni of the program, so I can share a unique perspective with the community and other professionals when they are looking for treatment resources.
As the PR & Media Strategist I get to work with other Professional Relations team members in Business Development, Marketing, Advertising, Community Engagement and Content Creation, which includes Social Media and Podcast.
When people and their families are in crisis because of an addiction, an eating disorder, or another mental health issue, we want Turning Point of Tampa to be top of mind. As an alumni, I know first-hand that Turning Point provides the highest quality care, and as a staff member, it is my job to get that information out to the public.
Public Relations and Media Strategist
I have traveled throughout the state of Florida, learning about other resources of treatment, and I have yet to find a facility or program that is as unique, affordable, or long-standing as Turning Point.
Because there are so many people suffering from addiction and other behavioral health issues in our country, Turning Point allows me to also dedicate my time to advocacy efforts on both a state and national level, ensuring that everyone who wants recovery has access to the services and support they need.
I work at Turning Point of Tampa because I know we are doing the right thing by people and their families all the time. There are many great aspects of my job, but I get the most from a conversation with a therapist or another professional that has referred someone to treatment at Turning Point. Hearing that they are doing well after treatment and enjoying a sober life is truly rewarding and I can relate to that on a very personal level.
