In honor of our 31st birthday, we thought it was important to emphasize the goal of everything we do: the gift of recovery. At Turning Point of Tampa, we have a 12-Step-based treatment program that changes the lives of our clients. Compassionate care and individual and group therapy are the cornerstones of what has made Turning Point of Tampa a success over the past 31 years.
Robin Piper, CEO of Turning Point Tampa says, “No one comes here on a winning streak. Instead, we meet people when they are at their lowest. Our goal is to provide high-quality and effective addiction treatment in Tampa.”
We know change is an ever-present factor in the world of addiction treatment, but when it comes to providing the best quality rehabilitation services, our approach and therapeutic environment has stood the test of time. We are an in-network provider, licensed to provide residential treatment, day and partial hospitalization treatment, as well as intensive outpatient treatment, for substance abuse treatment and eating disorders treatment.
We’re Family Owned
Addiction treatment has become a large industry over the years, but Turning Point of Tampa remains family-owned and on one campus. Many of our staff are alumni, and several are long-time employees. Our CEO & Clinical Director Robin Piper, LMHC, MCAP, NCC, CCT just celebrated 21 years with the company. Even though we are a family-owned business, we are accredited by The Joint Commission and licensed by the Department of Children and Families (DCF). We continually increase addiction program effectiveness by evaluating ourselves, adapting to the needs of our clients and monitoring ongoing changes in the behavioral health industry.
Our Staff are Experts
Our staff is an integral part of our success. The Turning Point Tampa staff is dedicated to providing supportive therapy using state-of-the-art modalities. Our treatment team includes psychiatrists, registered nurses, master’s level therapists, licensed mental health counselors, a registered dietitian, social workers, certified addiction professionals and behavioral health techs.
Our mission is to instill the promise of hope of recovery within each client.
The philosophy that every single person is capable of change is not an easy one to always standby. But it’s our alumni and their family members who exemplify this belief for us each day.
At Turning Point of Tampa, we understand that it is a privilege to help people redefine themselves through the gift of recovery. We are grateful to have earned your trust over the past 31 years.
During our lifetime, we’ve treated over 12,000 clients. If you or someone you know is struggling with an addiction and needs opioid treatment, drug treatment, alcohol treatment or eating disorders treatment, you can find out more information about our programs here.
