The saying, living life on life’s terms, is something that has remained consistent through both personal and professional endeavors. COVID-19 has done nothing but remind us that the saying still applies. Although it has created a different set of navigational tools, Turning Point of Tampa has made necessary adjustments to continue to provide support and services to our client community while keeping everyone as safe as possible. We are still accepting new clients into the Intensive Outpatient Program and are providing our clinical services remotely by using password protected virtual platforms to allow our clients to feel secure as we help protect their confidentiality. There will be a requirement to come in person on the first day of group to complete admissions paperwork with staff prior to logging into group at 5:30 pm. For ongoing accountability, we are still performing drug testing throughout the duration of the program and are taking extra precautions to protect both staff and clients to eliminate additional exposure. Our goal is to continue offering support to not only our therapeutic community, but the medical community and doing our part to flatten the curve. For any additional questions about getting started in any of our programs or clarification of the treatment process, please reach out to the Admissions Office for assistance. Stay safe!
